Scientist Dr. Walter Starck was called in by the handful of owners taking part in Australia’s Northern Demersal Scalefish Fishery when further cuts were proposed. These grounds cover over 200,000 sq. km of Australia’s northwest shelf and zoning closes off a massive area to fishing vessels.
