Comment on proposed Coral Sea Marine Park

Australia boasts the world's third-largest Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) and second-largest shelf area. Despite abundant resources, we import 70% of seafood, increasing our trade deficit. With declining fisheries, largely due to restrictive management, MPAs are expanding, despite minimal threat to marine life. This mismanagement burdens our economy and environment.
